It will not show you a number it cannot stand behind.

Readiness combines heart-rate variability, sleep, resting heart rate, body battery, stress and your training load into one number for today. Under seven days of data it shows you nothing at all.

How the score is built

Eight factors, weighted, with heart-rate variability carrying the most and sleep close behind. If your device does not supply one of them, the remaining weights are rebalanced rather than the missing factor being scored as zero.

Everything is computed on your phone from data you have already chosen to sync.

  • HRV against your own baselineToday’s reading is compared to your recent trend and your own variability, not to a population average.
  • Sleep as a running deficitDebt accumulates. A long night after four short ones does not wipe the slate.
  • Confidence, statedUnder seven days of data there is no score. Under fourteen you get a band but no number. Only past that does Stryde show you a figure.
  • When you might be illA specific combination — HRV down, resting heart rate up, disturbed sleep despite a long time in bed, temperature up — overrides everything else and says rest.

What it does with it

One line about today’s session: train as planned, ease off to around ninety per cent, swap it for something easier, or rest.

It is guidance for the session in front of you rather than another dashboard to interpret.

The rest of your numbers

Weight, body fat, muscle mass, hydration, sleep, HRV, resting heart rate, VO2 max, body battery, training status, blood pressure and temperature each get their own screen with a timeline you can scrub.

Anything you enter by hand takes precedence over what a device reported. You can also keep progress photos and compare two dates side by side.
